Precious and I celebrate 'cause we're almost done with the study tour for teachers. SEDP sponsored the study tour for 30 teachers from SEDP's Clean Cities - Baguio, Marikina, Makati, Davao and Iloilo, for them to experience first hand the different renewable energy sites in Luzon. Expect a more lively discussion on RE with your teachers in this coming school year! Read my
blog entry on this subject for more!

ECO DEFENDERS JOIN PANAGBENGA 2009!

The Eco Defenders joined Baguio City's Centennial Panagbenga celebration last Feb. 28, 2009. Volunteer students from Baguio City National Highschool, University of Baguio, St. Luis University and and General Pio del Pilar High School of Makati donned colorful costumes depicting the various Eco Defender tips. The 27th Lancer Band provided the upbeat and festive music for the USAID SEDP street dancers that saw crowds clapping and asking for more at every stop of the 4-km long parade.
I will be uploading the names of the volunteers and more pics on a blog as soon as I can. In the mean time, you can visit
www.sedp.ph and view the
photogallery.

Our main objective is
to encourage everyone in becoming a true eco defender and to challenge them to be champions for the environment.
This cyber community respects its members and their freedom to express themselves. We all acknowledge that with freedom comes a great responsibility and accountability. Thus, let us be careful of what we write and express in this site.
Just an ECO-FRIENDLY REMINDER. Cheers!
